When I capture using my ATI TV Wonder with MMC 7.1, using the Best setting (MPEG2), I get random horizontal lines in the resulting file. Captures from lower settings are fine.
Does anyone know whats causing this?
System:
Windows ME
AMD Duron 800
192mb RAM
Geforce2 mx400 (latest drivers)
ATI TV Wonder VE.

I bet this could be caused in many ways. I had this problem recently, and I
was able to eliminate it by piping the video signal through a Time Base
Corrector. That won't necessarily work for you. -
Try also an RF Stopper
Those ones are magnets in a specific shape. Most of the times those helps, but after lot of use, they might destroy your cable also! -
This may be completly unrelated but...
There was another post a while ago with a very similar problem to this.
The solution was changing the HDD settings or upgrading the driver I forget.
check back through the archives looking around about for interference or hard disk
You could also see if you have the latest HDD drivers.
