I’m connecting my laptop throw DVI output to HDMI input on my LCD TV. When I’m browsing Internet I can see the picture on my TV and everything is OK. When I open stream video using Windows Media Player on my laptop screen it is OK, but on TV I’m only seeing Media Player frame but not content of the video, it is just black window.

  2. You need to set your tv as the default monitor. Or something like that, I haven't had a setup like that in a while. You have it setup as cloned correct?

I’m not quite sure what are you talking about. In display property I have “Multiple Monitors”

Since you have a laptop, you need to read the manual or consult the manufacturer. Some older laptops only support clone mode (e.g. for powerpoint type presentations). What you want is true dual monitor mode and you want to switch the overlay to the external monitor (aka on some chipsets "setting primary monitor") When you do, you will see black boxes on the laptop screen and the overlay video will show on the external monitor.

Some later ATI chipsets are able to auto switch overlay as you move the player window from one monitor to the other (in extended desktop mode). You need to figure out what your laptop can do with the graphics chipset it has.
