  1. I have a mpg2 file that I would like to change the bitrate and the size (number of pixel)
I try to convert it using tmpgenc but it tell me that the file is not recognizable.
Is it possible to convert mpg2 to mpg2 using this software ?

    thanx

Tmpgenc plus should support mpeg2. Have you tried change the directshow source reader? www.videohelp.com/tmpgenc#problems . Older tmpgenc version required a mpeg2 decoder like powerdvd installed to be able to import mpeg2. You can also try the TMPGEnc MPEG2 Plugin.

or are you using tmpgenc xpress?

  3. I have tmpgenc plus version 2.5
the direct show multimedia file reader is already at the top of the list in the VFAPI plug-in

Ulead DVD Player is already installed on that computer

I will try the pluggin that you recommend and see it its work

should I use tmpgenc xpress, is it better ?

    thanx for the help

Open the file in G-Spot 2.60Beta or later and post a screen shot here.
