    Im not sure where to place this post.

    I have a HP pc with windows xp media center. Im trying to find out when you record TV what format is it saved in. I would like to author the files to cut out comercials...Any help .

    Media center records in dvr-ms and you can edit it directly with Videoredo and save as standard mpg files.
