I had a movie in two .avi files but with only one .srt subtitle file...I joined the avis with ffmpeg but halfway through the movies the subtitles are about five seconds too *early*....
I tried just splitting the .srt file (in TextEdit) into two files but it didn't show up when I ran part 2 (with the original part 2 of the pre-joined .avi).
I do *not* want to go through by hand and retime every single line in the single .srt...is there any way to fix this easily?
TIA

You can fix /shift/ timing and do lot of other things on subtitle files using the Jubler app..
