  1. Hi,
I recently got a cell phone that supports 3GP video and MicroSD cards, so I want to convert some of my XviD files to 3GP but I'm not sure what settings to use. I tried with the default settings in ffmpegX but the result was terrible. Anyone have any experience or guidelines to achieve quality results for viewing on the phone?

If it helps the phone is a Samsung A707 (Cingular Sync)

If you have Quicktime Pro, use "export as...", choose "3G" with "3GPP - MP4 Mobile" mode. It's probably the easiest way to convert to 3GP.
