    Hi, it might be wired question, but cant stop to asking here.
    Recently heard about satellite channels, using some kind of card to watch world satellites and channels.

    Need information on this.

    do a search on "FTA" , since it is not legal in the USA .. cant really discuss it here -- but lots of suppliers in canada

    Do a google search for satellite locater or angle locater - to see what satellites you can see from your location. You need line of sight to the satellite...

    PM me an email address and I can give you some better information. I'm stepping out now and will be on tomorrow (maybe tonight) - it's a holiday today. in Alberta

    Hi,

    Check for a piece of equipment called SkyStar 2, it is a PCI card that you can use with ProgDVB.

    You are going to need a Dish and LNB to scan for FTA.
