I originally posted to the "computer" forum since this really isn't a question about DVD --> avi,mp4 but I haven't gotten any takers probably because less people with MeGUI installed are likely to happen across that forum. As to subject says, I am very interested in comparing video encode times of mpeg-2 to x264 with different processors.

    I made a set of files you can d/l and test on your machine with the hope people would do it and post the results. Here is the thread I started in the computer section. I made this post to let the mp4 community in here know about it. I am regularly updating the results both there on doom9.
