Hi this question has probably been answered somewhere & I am not new to this forum; however I haven’t been on in awhile so evidently I had to make a new account. My question is that I just purchased a widescreen monitor & I can not find where to change the setting to 16 x 9 in windows media player 11. It simply plays all video material in 4:3 & my monitor stretches this material out. The video decoder I am using is win dvd 6 & also if anyone has any suggestions for a software player to play back ripped dvd’s from a hard drive feel free to let me know. The only one I can currently get to work is windows media player unless I drop and drag the vts files to win dvd. Thanks in Advance!

Media Player Classic.
And to play dvds on the hd select to open the folder with the vob, ifo, bup files. Don't open just the vobs.
