I'm using DVDRemakePro to put two VIDEO_TS folders together. So i've got both files merged together. BUt when i burn the file, it only plays shwoign 2 sec from each chapter. How do i make it so it plays the entire file instead of the first 2 sec from each chapter?

It sounds like you might have used the "Create a Test DVD" option instead of the "Create a full DVD" option. I can't remember the proper description, or the colour of the buttons, but that should be enough for you to sort it out with a quick hunt around.

To change the default top menu you have to author your own one as a DVD folder. A simple way to do that is generating it in TDA from imported short tracks (it's a good idea to use small 'test DVD' outputted from DVDRemake for this). Then you import both merged DVD (or just use the merged project) and your menu DVD folder. Go to default top menu, write down button commands from it (in recent versions they are simply 'Link Tail PGC') and use 'replace block option' for that menu page. You'll be offered to select a new menu block from one of the imported projects - find your picture and confirm the replacement. The rest is editing button commands via right-clicking button (use the commands written down) and importing color scheme of your menu (you can previously export it to file in your menu DVDRemake project). If your menu is 16:9 (the default one is always 4:3) you can also edit this attribute.
Some details of this process are illustrated in DVDRemake help file.
