Gspot newb question

I gotta encode a mpeg2 vtvspot.. its only 20 secs and it must not exceed 8000kbs bitrate..

I use Gspot to check my mpeg2 file.. but in almost all cases..in the left area Gspot write
System Bitrate: 10080 kb/s .. is that something is should care about?

(in the right area i get the "right" kbs bitrate number for the video)

Are you sure you not getting video bitrate confused with final file size .

Example :



The upper on indicates actual file size .
The one below indicate's the system bitrate .

The one not shown here ... too the right was 960kbps (kilobits per second) , actual video average bitrate .

Three completely different things .

As for the lower one too the right not shown , it depend's on the tool that encoded the m2v stream ... you can alway's re-encode the file so it use's a lower video bitrate which would reduce the file's size ... by how much ... that would be a guess as this depend's if it contain's a high rate of fast motion or not in the clip .

Gspot is a good tool, but I prefer to use the Teco Bit Rate Viewer for MPEG video. You can get the free version at http://www.tecoltd.com and I guarantee you that it is much easier to use to get the MEPG video bitrate than Gspot and it also has some additional information about MPEG video that might be of interest to you. You do not need to buy the commercial version. The free one works well for what you need.

Have you seen your own lot on the tv lately ... crist ... I thought we were bad here ... but I'll refrain from being outlandishly and blatantly rude ... suffice too say ... clean up your own back yard first in the us , and clear off until you do .

I hate sunday and monday early morning tv ... your religous fruit cake's are on it all the time ... time too put a dvd on ... the good book was never intended to have it's infomation deseminated in such manner ... no wonder your lot are so screwed up .

I won't go into my past history , but too say , my experience was choppy at best as we travelled around nsw ... my father being a principal for the catholic system , meant we had too move every few year's to a new town and start again , making new friend's , and such ... so the early time's were mixed , and may have been why I do thing's differently at time's .

I'd rather be legible and understood from the start ... I couldnt give two stuff's for all this pronunciation , and punctuation ... life dose not exist nor survive on this ... so long as the idea's can be transfered and understood .

Man ... there are two word's here I haven't used in some twenty odd plus year's said here ... look's like the brain still has something too offer after all this time ... crap ... it even know's how too spell those thing's without a spell checker ... which most use these day's (inferior piece of crap that thing is)

If someone right's a sentence that dosent seem correct ... then one should assume that they may not use english as their first language ... jumping too conclusion's will return fire every time .

THE POSSESSIVE FORM OF NOUNS ... now I know what that is ... I think from memory ... from school , of what I can recall , this had only been mentioned once in the entire time ... and what ... your supposed too remember that shit from then on like a robot ... who the hell is kidding who .

Now if it had been written down at that time some where for instant access for me to recall when neeeded to confirm ... I may have picked these stupid thing's up by now ...
