    Does anyone know of a way to make an .avi to always play at 1/2 playback speed, instead of manually having to do it? I don't see an option for it in MPEG Streamclip, FFmpegX or any other avi editing program I have.

    Do you want to change the actual framerate, or do you want a slow-motion playback ? i.e. 23.976 fps becomes 12 fps, or 23.976 fps remains at 23.976 fps, but the images move at half speed ?

    I wanted slow motion playback.
    Will decreasing the fps in half give me half playback speed, or is it not that simple?
