Hello. Does anyone have an opinion about any decent DVD Recorder/vhs VCR combos?

I like JVC, Toshiba and Panasonic DVD Recorders but would like to know how their combos rate with y'all. I need one to make fast, easy and decent DVD's from VHS. I'm not looking for the perfectly tweaked JVC DigiPure w/chroma filters Lordsmurf setup (I already got that and it works great ). This time I need a decent and reliable "both-in-one" box for dubbing many old tapes. It does need to be able to pause during vhs-dvd dubbing which the Panasonic ES40VS won't do.

If anyone knows about these can you help out?
    Thanks!

The VCR is always going to be the beast in the combo.

I can't vouch for this unit but I just saw that philips has the DVDR3435V/37 combo unit on sale. I'm not shilling for them so I won't give you all the details, but if you look around there you can get an extra 40 off until 2/20. If it's a decent unit then that final price looks pretty good.
