    Hi everyone,

I was wondering if somebody can help with this:

I'm trying to watch video files (*.avi) on my computer using ALShow player, I have the subtitles files and VobSub installed but the player won't show the subtitles (*.srt) and the green arrow doesn't appear on the system tray. The same happens when I try to play them with VLC Player.

Does anybody has a clue of why is this happening and how to fix it? I know I can play the files with WMP, WMC or Winamp... but I really like the other two better.

    Thank you.

You can't use vobsub with those as they are not using directshow filters like vobsub.

But VLC supports srt subtitles, File->Open File and you can choose avi and srt.
