Hi everyone!
Does anybody have any idea why I can't backup 'Alice In Wonderland: Special Edition' PAL DVD, Disney Classic. I don't know what I'm doing wrong:
1. Ripped with RipIt4Me v1.6.9.0
2.Stripped unwanted material with DVDReMakePro v3.4.1
3.Then, everything works fine except in Main title (Movie) there are 2 chapters with timecode 12:04:15:00 and 12:02:04:19. That's what causing playback problems (skipping, freezing).
Any advice greatly appreciated.
Thanks a lot in advance.

I am sure others may be able to give you a better solution, but you could try DVD Shrink on the ripped files, see if it gives you a better working reduced in size backup

Thanks, zworg2.
Tried that. No luck.
DVD Shrink shows me: Main Movie - 26:23.38 (Duration).
Thanks anyway. -
You did allow ripit4me to process the title with the latest fixvts to process it after dvddecrypter ripped it ?
"Stripped unwanted material with DVDReMakePro v3.4.1" ... bad mistake .
Either vobblanker or pgcedit to blank out unwanted material is better , and quicker .
You may want to repeat the process to rip it to hd once more , but this time , load it in vobblanker first , and see if it complains about anything . -
Thanks, Bjs.
I didn't process it with fixvts because I didn't have one then.
Can I use it now on ripped files or is it better to rip again (wouldn't want though - it takes about 1 hour)?
What's the difference between "CleanUp" and "FullDVD" options in fixvts?
Thanks. -
navi310,
If you still have the original rip, then you don't need to rip it again. If you modified the original rip, you'll need to rip it again.
"Cleanup" only processes the domain of the VOB you dropped on the FixVTS window. "Full DVD" processes the entire dvd. You should use "Full DVD".
