I keep getting the following error when trying to install the components on my MacBook Pro.
##sh: line 1: sudo: command not found
Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks!

Hi Regud
I'm not sure but it seems you must install the BSD subsystem on your Mac before to install ffmpegX and its components.
Have you got it on your Mac ?

I just created a new user account that is able to administer the computer, and was able to install the components under that login. It appears that I have changed some setting in my user account (also set to administer computer) that is preventing me from installing the components under my login. I know that I have set the root password so that I could configure the PATH for Ant and Java to compile my programs. Do you have any suggestions for checking my user settings?
