Telestream's Flip4Mac(r) MXF Components for the Apple(r) Macintosh platform enable users to import files from the Grass Valley(tm) Infinity(tm) Series digital media camcorder, the Grass Valley Profile(r) XP Media Platform video server and K2(tm) media servers into Final Cut Pro software for editing. This tight integration is key to providing a faster, more convenient workflow for transferring media from the Grass Valley file-based products into Final Cut Pro editing environments.

To be demonstrated at NAB 2007 in April, Telestream's Flip4Mac MXF digital media tools for the Mac include: Flip4Mac Infinity Component for Final Cut Pro, a new Import Component for Grass Valley Infinity Series line of IT-immersed products (facilitating reliable and fast electronic newsgathering and field production); as well as Import/Export Components for Grass Valley Profile video server and K2 media client and media server systems. Support for Turbo iDDR and M-Series iVDR is also planned.

The Flip4Mac Infinity Component supports true random access file transfer of DV25 and D-10 MPEG video with uncompressed audio into Final Cut Pro for editing. Additional format support is planned. Users can browse Infinity devices, preview clips, rename files and easily import content with the click of a mouse.

The Flip4Mac Infinity Component will be available soon, and the Import/Export Components for Grass Valley video servers are now available from Telestream.
