Hi to everyone:
I am considering purchase of Panasonic DVD recorder model E25S mainly because of its "upconverting" feature, which would be nice, I think, for my 43 inch projection TV (Sony). But, my TV has no digital inputs. It can accept signal formats 1125i and 750p, as stated in its manual. Would this "upconverting" feature be of use to me for this TV?
Since I am a novice in this matter, shall appreciate respose from knowledgeable folks in this forum.
Best regards.

If the Sony is similar to my new Samsung Upconvert player you will be able to kick the tv into 720p or 1080i(p) modes. I would see if the users guide for this Panny model is available online to see what available output resolutions it has. Possibly you meant to type 720 and not 750 in the thread above... in which case it possibly would work.
You can always return it if it doesn't meet your needs -
Thanks, guys, for answering my question on upconversion. Really appreciate. Wish you all the best
