Sorry if this is in the wrong forum. It's only because I've just registered and I've not all the perks that come with non-newbie status. This was kind've pressing, thats all.

Just yesterday I hacked my region 2 player via the Kameleon One For All (urc 8206) and since I've noticed a slight change in audio output. It's nothing terrible, but through the TV itself it requires the volume to be ramped up on all DVDs, with the speech somewhat diminished (quieter, taking the backseat to music and sound effects - which in turn come of alot louder and riddled with bass by comparison) on most discs. Regardless, I normally use the aux on my stereo to relay all my DVD audio, which to a degree addresses the overall volume issues... yet I still have a slight drop in the speechtrack.

This is the hack I used.

1, Put a disc in player when it starts, press stop and put player onto welcome screen.

1, Hold magic button down until DVD button on remote flashes twice.
2, Press 994.
3, Press Magic button.
4, Press 1891.
5, Repeat steps 1 to 3, then press 2552.
6, Repeat steps 1 to 3, then press 0953.
7, Repeat steps 1 to 3, then press 2214.
8, repeat steps 1 to 3, then press 0795.
9, Remove disc from the player, then put player on stand by.
10, Press 12345 (success will be displayed and comes out of stand by.
11, Press 12345 (player goes into stand by and your player is now region free).

If I remember rightly, I didn't remove the disc before standby, and I'm doubting this would have a negative effect... but I did wonder.

Can anyone help/echo this problem?

Thanks.
