I am converting old VHS tapes to DVD's. I plan to do some light editing (titles and some special effects) after the burn.
This may be a dumb question, but I should be burning to DVD+RW media and not DVD+R)? Is this correct?
I will probably be using PowerDirector or something similar for the editing. thanks

DVD+RW has a 2.4 times higher basic writing speed than DVD-RW. You are better protected against shocks during writing, since the exact location can be found even during recording on DVD+RW. Like guns1inger stated you save money...
