    I tried to play a dvd on my computer and it told me i needed a dvd decorded.What does that mean? Could anyone help

    http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/player/plugins.aspx#DVDDecoder or use a free dvd player like mpc,gomplayer,vlc,kmplayer.

    Sure. Windows doesn't come with a MPEG-2 codec, which is needed to play DVDs and other MPEG-2s. You can install a software player like Power DVD or just install Stinkys MPEG2 Codec and you should be good to go.
