Hi,

I have rmvb files i need to convert to xvid (208x176). I have Xvid Codec, FFdshow, Real Alternative, and virtual dub installed. I also have smart movie installed and it converts the rmvb files too but the problem is the audio video sync..

I read some tutorials over here how to open rmvb with virtualdub and i succeeded in converting the files with reduced frames and they worked perfectly on my mobile.

Now the problem is i want to use mono for audio. I tried doing it via Audio > Conversion (in virtual dub) to 22050 hz and mono channel but while saving file it gave error.

Plus in Audio > Compression menu i am using MPEG 3 32Kbps, 22050hz..

Now is there a way i can change the audio to 40 kbps 22050 mono ??

Secondly when i convert videos using the xvid codec i installed at 128 kbps, 11.98 fps and 40 kbps mp3 mono i get a file size of 14 MB but when i convert it via virtual dub i get a filesize of 24 MB.

In virtualdub i am using 128kpbs xvid, 32 22050 hz mono and 11.98 fps ..

I am new to conversion please help...
