Currently I have a couple of VCDs and it seem that there are 2 languages. Korean on the left channel and Chinese on the right channel.
I was wondering if there is a way to rip the right channel and then encode it back into the video into both Left and Right channel chinese.
I had tried ripping the right channel only and encode it back to the video but when playback I only get right channel to have sound and left channel is mute.

When playing the VCD on a DVD player, just clicking the "Audio" control on the remote, which changes audio tracks on a DVD, should switch from stereo (both languages at once) to mono-left, mono-right; this has worked on every player I've used anyway.
But if you're going to rip it anyway, you can put several VCDs onto one DVD. At least you don't have to switch discs in the middle of a movie.
See SVCD2DVDMPG for one way to do this. -
