    Hi,

I am new to this forum, so please bear with me. I am trying to capture music videos from the "Musicbox" site from SONY/BSG.

    http://musicbox.sonybmg.com/

I normally use Replay A/V, or WM Recorder for capturing videos on other sites, along with "URL Helper", and "URL Snooper" if needed. These all work perfectly.

However, I am unable to capture any videos from this site, as it seems the URL's displayed are in the incorrect format.

Can anybody help with this please - Thanks........ Sean !!!

  3. Use Camtasia Studio, 30 day trial
In recording select Fixed region and select with mouse window of video:

Or find good freeware Screen capture: https://www.videohelp.com/tools?s=110#110

    Hi,

Thanks for the reply.... I will give it a go.......

I presume you can't capture via the URL, as this is an RTMP protocol - is that correct ?

    Thanks...... Sean !!!

    No.
I presume the quality captured from Camtasia Studio will be the same,
because size of window video small.

Oh for...! It's SONY for goodness sakes! They want you to buy the vid or watch it, NOT watch it and save it (for free). They are the kings of DRM and other stop copy software. You might have to look at other stream capture software if you R-E-A-L-L-Y want something from their site.
