    hi i have an ati 64ddr radeon and a soundblaster live value and when i capture i get a choppy sound i don't think it's my sound card cause while i'm capturing the sound is perfect it's when i play it back that there's a probleme... anybody got a clue?

    If you have a VIA chipset, it may cause some problems with the SBLive and IDE while capturing.
    If so, you can try installing the via pci latency patch [www.viahardware.com]. Also, disabling UDMA (using DMA33 instead of DMA66) sometimes fixes the problem.
