Help! I am going to climb to the top of the Yellow Mountain in China in 3 weeks. I want to bring my notebook (a 400 mhz P2), with a webcam and my new wireless internet card. The card only gives me 153.6 kb per second. I would like to be able to set up my notebook and upload the webcam to my webpage so that people will see things as they happen, I think you call this real time?

I would greatly welcome suggestions on how to do this. Yes I realize that there are hardware limitations...

Does the wireless vendor claim you will have a signal on top of Yellow Mountain?

I've set up a streaming cam in the past using webcam32

I have some friends who have been there and have been able to use their cdma cell phones from the top with a fairly clear signal. The population densities are are quite high in China so that even in fairly remote places you can get a signal. The top of huang shan is probably only 5 miles from a city of 100,000 people. The wireless card is also the cdma standard. I will look at ur link.

    Thanks!
