  1. I have some VTS files (it is a subtitled movie only no menu). Is there a way to add my own menu to these?

I know I can convert the VTS' into video\audio files and import them into my authoring program but then I have to deal with converting the subtitles to text.

DVD-lab pro. Select so it doesn't demux the video. I think you need to activate the subs manually after you authored...was a long time ago I used it.

In addition to Baldrick's recommendation, here's a few methods I have used in the past:

    1) PGCedit will allow you to Add menus (Import or New) -- rt-click in the area that shows your DVD Structure to see what you can do...

    2) Author your menu, and have the button link to some short black video clip, or maybe one of those FBI warnings, etc... Then open that in PGCedit, and rt-click on that short clip and use the option to Import Title's Closing Clip (then import one of your existing DVD's)

    3) DVD LabPro will allow you to Attach External VTS (so you can simply author a new DVD, and attach your existing DVD's)

    Regards,
    George

  4. Don't have DVD Lab pro but I did input the files into Adobe Encore 2. It took the files with no issues and I was able to then add a start menu. Only problem is upon building the new folder and previewing I have lost the subtitles. They were "selectable" and now the option is gone.
