imported avi file in to encore 2 has no voice!!!

Hi all. i imported 2 avi files in to encore 2 and created dvd image and the result is video without voice!! Even the prview does not play voice. But if i play each imported avi file using media player they have voice. could any one tell me what is wrong with my avi files.Thanks

Convert the audio to wav and use it as audio source in encore. Open the avi in Goldwave and save as wav.

baldrick i have many files and i don't think that is the right way to do it since voice and audio might night paralell!! Beside i remmber one year ago i had no problem importing video to encore!!!
