  1. I'm using the textsub filter in virtualdub mod for an .srt file, and the output shows the 'markups' in addition to the subtitles... anyone know why?

    Don't think that the <font> tag is supported by srt. If you are just setting every line to white, then you may as well just strip them anyway.

  3. hmm... but the .avi file I have was 'packaged' with the .srt - why would someone make a .srt if that's not supported?

    More importantly, I guess, is how do i quickly strip those things out?

  5. thanx. in the end, i just used REPLACE in notepad to remove the font tags. Everything seems good now!
