Hi everyone, Sorry to trouble you but I have a file which i captured using VLC using ogg encapsulation and i think i picked mp4v as a video codec and mp3 as an audio but I mean I didn't exactly know what I was doing hehe. Problem is it plays back fine in VLC but nothing will convert it at all. If anyone is kind enough to take a look at this little part of the file and find a way to convert it i will be very grateful

I have tried virtualdub, super even using VLC to stream it so I can save it as something else.

    Many thanks

You can't put mpeg-4 or mp3 in an ogg container since they are patented. ogg is patent free. All streams in an ogg file must also be patent free. So I guess technically it is an ogm file.

Try VirtualDubMod. It supports ogm files.
