I have a unfinalized dvd-r from a Tosiba recorder that I want isobuster to extract files. I tried first to just extract the tao files and change the file name to vob. That worked, but when I tried to reauther the vob in tmpgenc the vob's were only 20 sec's in length.
I then had isobuster to find missing files on the disk. It did, but when I tried to extract them
i get a message saying isobuster is in free function only, even though it's registered. I can extract everything else fine, except for missing vob files.

Give CDRoller a shot, sometimes it does stuff Isobuster can't do.

another program that worked for me(although it looks very tacky)after I tried my copies of both the above on a disk i couldn't read was "dead disk doctor" i think they do a free trial
you'll find the site if you google for it.
