hi guys,
Ive been using dvd2svcd v2.1(2.1.2474).
i tried a 3 movie disc the other night with text menu and audio.
followed the online help.
when the disc was burned, here are the results:
dvd player 1 : black screen, audio playing.would still play movies from menu even though i was navigating blind.
dvd player 2 : menu screen but the player was in a play loop (just kept bringing up OSD PLAY),i could navigate but with the player constantly flashing up play, every time i tried to navigate, the player would just "reload" the disc, no audio.
xbox media centre - plays perfect.
Any ideas where im goin wrong? following the online tutorials and just seems to be a compatibility issue??
thanks in advance...

Is this your first try at an audio menu with SVCD2DVD? Which type of audio (AC3, MP3, etc.) did you choose for your menu? Can you post the log file for this disc?

I'm at work and don't have access to the program ATM, but try this - set the menu to encode to the duration of the audio. There should be a selection to do this under "settings". If that doesn't work, you could also try selecting to encode the menu audio to AC3, but I don't think that is your issue as you are in PAL territory. If you need more help with this I can check the exact labeling when I get home.
