Hello,
I'm using SimpleDivX v1.40.24 and I choose the option to "Create Subtitles using VobSub" on tab 6. Misc and then I choose "English" under languages, but when I check my output; there are no subtitles in the movie. Also, I don't see any other files in the output directory which might be a separate sub file.
I read the guide.
Everything else seems to work fine, and I actually like the layout of SimpleDivx, so would like to continue using this.
Any ideas of what I might be doing wrong?
I went ahead and installed VobSub and I will try this again, but this takes forever to encode, so I won't know if this makes a difference for awhile. But I don't think it will because I see that SimpleDivx installs it's own vobsub.dll in the ".../simpledivx/tools" directory.
Thanks!

Well, for what it's worth, after trying this 3 times - I simply installed VobSub by itself and then ran SimpleDivx the same way I had done before and this time, I get .idx and a .sub file created. So, now I just play the movie and get subs. Maybe it's suposed to be this way, idunno, it doesn't make any sense to me but at least it works now!
BTW, is SimpleDivx 'supposed' to take about 12 hours to encode a 6 GB DVD to about a 2GB Xvid .avi?
