    My model is a Sony DVP-NS51P

    I read that people who have this DVD player said all regions work and its just a sticker. But it specifically says on the label Region 4 only (Australia)

    Is there any way to make it Region free!!

    All branded DVD players sold in Australia will have the Region 4 mark on them, whether they are region free or not. Some of the dodgy brands may not. Certainly all the Pioneers I have owned have been region free off the shelf, but have had Region 4 on the box and case.

    Nah I have not tried a region free DVD yet because if it doesnt work, then what a waste of money. I would have to buy it off Ebay or something. I'm a tight arse

    I just got confused about what other ppl said about it. They said it was just a sticker, and I'm like what? I guess the only way to know is to buy one!

    Make one.
    Create a backup and assign it a region code.

    Where are you located ? If you are near Melbourne then you could check out a couple of places on Elizabeth St that carry non-Region 4 stock. One is (or was) called the Video Collector, opposite St Mary's church. The other is Minator Books at the Flinders St end.
