If I have a DVD, is there some way for me to verify what region it is? ie. 1,2,3,4,5,6,0 and also PAL or NTSC. There must be some kind of software out there that does this. I find that many times what is listed on the box is not accurate.
Thanks

You could try MediaInfo or look for some other similar programs in https://www.videohelp.com/tools?s=38#38 Software players like PowerDVD may also give you the information you need.

DvdInfo , DVD Decrypter can check region coding.
AVIcodec , GSpot can check the "frame rate" which should tell you the format, PAL or NTSC.
