    avisynth open failure: Script error: directshowsource does not have a named argument "convertfps" ("xxx. avs, line 1)

    i always get this error when i tried to convert my rmvb files to avi. Can anybody help me out? i have xvid codecs installed....

    Hi-

    What version of AviSynth do you have? ConvertFPS for DirectShowSource wasn't introduced until Ver 2.56. Maybe yours is old. If you don't know your version, create an .avs with just this one line inside:

    Version()

    and open it in VDub(Mod).

    thx for you information. I was actually using version 2.55... that's y it couldn't work... now it work just fine... thx alot!
