I've been scouring the web for the Max Headroom animated background or something similar for a video parody I wish to do. Failing that, I've tried some 3d programs but find them far too complex to map my "colored bars" onto, and they all really dislike the "inside" of the partial cube that I made. (Note: I work on limited free time and just searching for this thing has already chewed up way too much of it)

Does anyone know where I could find a looping Max-style background for my video project? While we're at it, how about any resources for cool, free background loops? (by free I mean REALLY free and not royalty-free-for-a-fee crap)

    Thanks!

Sony has some at the Vegas download site. Mainconcept used to (and may still do) publish a few new clips every month of so.

    Okay guys,

I fixed my own problem and made my own. I cheated a bit. I made this in an image editing program, then I put it on my timeline in Vegas and used the EVENT PAN/CROP feature on it. It isn't perfect but it solves my dilemma. I will look for a place to post my completely free video loop in case others want to do something similar... or they could save this image and do it on their own.
