svcd problem

Hi all im new at burning vcd and svcd becuase i just bought a dvdplayer. I have some questions which maybe someone can answer.

-When i burn an .bin file with cdrwin (vcd) the cd doesnt work with my dvd player but when get the mpg out of the .bin and burn it as vcd with easy cd creator it works perfect , does anybody know what the problem is?(cdrwin is legal version btw).

-So i could see vcd,s YES i are happy but then the other day i came about a new mpg2 svcd .bin file and tried again like this site said too burn it with cdrwin and again it didnt do it so i tried again easy cd creator but their was NO option for svcd in ezc so someone told me too use nero so i burned it with nero but everytime when its almost finished i get an error and the cd wont play. anyone knows a solution.

o yeah one more thing i know my dvd player plays svcd becuase i burned an mpg2 of 17mb with nero and put it in and it played perfect so my question is why can nero burn the 17mb correctly and when the mpg2 is much longer it gives an error(i treid serveral speed).

i am trying too burn the lord of the rings svcd.
