    Hi folks,
this is my first post, so if I should be in the wrong sub-forum, please be kind and don't send me to hell.
I'm experianced in creating VCD/SVCD with TMPGEnc, actually I use Version 2.00. Sources are mostly DV-tapes (avi). Results are pretty good after doing many experiments with settings. Maybe we can discuss that another time.
I would like to create mini-DVD's (on 700MB-CD-R). How to do it? Can I use my favorite Tsunami-Encoder further? And can I author with the latest Nero-version? Do I need any other tools? What's the resulting maximum length of a miniDVD?

BTW, TMPGEnc causes most of times ugly distortion (probably k3,k5...) in the sound files. So I use my Video-editing-prog to make a separate VCD- file and remux the resulting audio-file with TMPGEnc-Video-file. Works great, but uncomfortable. Anyone has a clue?

Thanks a lot for your answers.

    regards

  2. All right
Although I am still experimenting with videos but I also experimented with Mini DVD. I think that you think that you think you can burn a Mini DVD to a normal CD. But that is not true. Mini DVD is a sort of video that you have to burn on a DVD disc and a normal CD.

To make a Mini DVD you could use Spruce Up, it is a very nice program. You can do a lot of nice things.

I hope my information is correct, if not, just forget all this .
But I think all this correct for 90%.

    Greetings,

  3. Ulead's DVD Movie Factory app will make mini-DVDs on CDR. Unfortunately my DVD player won't read it.

My computer plays it just fine though.
