    Flip4Mac's WMV Studio will allow you to do this,
    in combination with Quicktime Pro.

    I believe the free Flip4Mac component (downloadable from Microsoft) combined with MPEG Streamclip or ffmpegX should do what you want.

    Flip4Mac is the best thing current. If you don't pay, the output will have a watermark.

    If VLC can play it, you can recode to mp4, if MPlayer will play it, it can, too.

    I just did a test of iSquint and it works if you have ffmegX installed and ffmpegX can play the file.
