I edited some camcorder footage and saved it to my computer as a AVI file, to auther I need a MPEG2 file, I'm using super and I noticed I can adjust the bitrate to improve quality. My video is 12minutes long. How do I find the best bitrate? Also if I had no edits & didn't want to author whats the best way to get my AVI file on a playable DVD I have NERO & IMGBURN.

You must author if you want to get a dvd-video. You can use nero vision and add the avi and it will convert and author it to a dvd , you don't need a menu.
