I am new to this site. I recently bought a Aiptek MPVR+ to use with my Helmet Cam. I recorded footage over this weekend and dowloaded the clips to my Laptop. The problem is when I play them, (Windowms Media Player, Quicktime, VLC)my PF usage skyrockets and goes over 1.0 GB and locks everything up. I converted it to MPEG and it plays fine, but I can see a loss of quality. Does anyone know why this is happening and what options do I have? Thanks.

Load ntfilemon from sysinternals.com before you play the file and look for the files the playback apps access in common. The culprit is there.

You know, it's probably a corrupted DirectX file. Reinstall Directx 9.0c
