Hello
I'd like to change the aspect ratio of Menu on 16:9,
because my authoring software (Ulead DVDWorkShop2) can't do it.
WorkShop2 always make Menu as 4:3.
I have changed aspect ratio of Menu use PGCEdit (my first steps).
I have clicked on "Domain Stream Attributes" and have changed the attributes for the Menu stream (with 4:3 - on 16:9 Automatic letterbox).
On TV, Menu has looked very well (16:9) but hightlighted (selected) buttons hasn't.
Every hightlighted areas still look as 4:3.
What wrong I did?
Please, Help me.
Gregory

The subpictures also have to be rendered for 16:9. Basically, you can author a 16:9 video in DVD Workshop 2 with 4:3 menus, and use external apps to alter the flags so the video displays 16:9, but if you want to have 16:9 menus, I suspect you have to author in software that supports them natively.

PGCEdit can only change the flags, but it won't (and can't) alter the subpictures. A lot of discs have 4:3 menus and 16:9 video. It works better on 4:3 TVs, and it is easier to author (which is why DVD Workshop only does 4:3).
You made your choice - you will have to live with it.
Edit :
The only other option I can think of would be to author your menus in GUIForDVDAuthor as 16:9, then see if PGCEdit can be used to replace your 4:3 menus with the new ones. Of course, you could also just author in GUIForDVDAuthor instead.Read my blog here.
