Don't so OBTUSE. The stupidity of that statement is almost beyond belief. Put the same stream through VCD Toolkit. I bet that IT doesn't think it is compliant.

Your "SVCD-X" is just a LOW BITRATE SVCD.
    Your "VCD-X" is a non-standard VCD.

IF u say its not standard cuz i dont use the specified bitrate, you gotta be jokin me.
EXACTLY you idiot. VCD has a standard bitrate of 1150 kbit/s for video and 224 kbit/s for audio so that it can be played by single spin CD drives reading at exactly 75 sectors per second. Off spec. VCDs cannot be played in many stand-alone VCD players.

This is not non standard either or it would not play in this dvd player cuz my x(s)vcds do NOT work in it.
This is a new median of mpg that is more compatible and more enjoyable than the "old" standards
I've have explained (as have others) why this is completely retarded. If you can't understand simple explainations, you are beyond all hope.

As for CD-i players, I'm not going to question the intellegence of your friend but it is high time YOU research what a CD-i player is. CD-i players don't have a chance in hell of decoding anything MPEG-2, be it a compliant SVCD or not. If you are not simply lying, your friend probably has a DVD player than can play CD-i video discs. These are NOT CD-i players.

Well I didn't want to mention it but I've got a new "format" too -- BS-VCD. My new "standard" is as compatible as standard VCD and you can fit 2 hr+ of perfect LOSSLESS video on one CD-R! You can play it on EVERY VCD player and DVD player!! $100 only!! AMAZING!

For an extra $25, I'll send a SPECIAL ADAPTER that will allow you to play this AWESOME new format on any AUDIO CD-PLAYER!!!
