    Type: System.UnauthorizedAccessException

Message: Access to the path "C:\Program Files\BadgerIT\SVCD2DVD v2\menu\MenuMuxer.exe" is denied.

I have used this program for ages and encode easily with no problem on vista 32 but i tried to use a menu and got the following error.
Im assuming the specified path is the right one and the actual application it is trying to reach is missing.
I would use nero for the menu but this is so much quicker as almost everything has been converted to s2d files meaning i really need to get this sorted.

Any help would be great thanks.

Sorry just noticed through playback too the 1st time i tried to include chapters this also failed.
I did set it to 10 minutes and applied it to override svcd's own settings but no chapters.

Im sure its a vista thing as everything worked on xp but i hate xp so a solution would be awesome.

Is this when previewing a menu or during the actual processing?

I thought maybe it was the uac so i set everything to run as administrator, but no joy and found that menumuxer is in the svcd folder and has no seperate menu folder as the path asks for so i have created the folder "menu" and copied the file to it....i will run it now and report back findings asap.

I think (off the top of my head) - what it is trying to do is to delete the folder, before it recreates it. It maybe that allowing full control to C:\Program Files\BadgerIT\SVCD2DVD v2 (and child folders) to the account you are logged in as will resolve the issue.

Uninstalled and reinstalled, gave program full acess over folder and now on the program ending the titleset and trying to encode a menu i get this error, so any clues on where to go from here.

Right i came from here and closed the program after the last message and windows popped up a pretty little window telling me a program had not run right and had adjusted the settings to make it more compatible. On trying again it got to the menu creation part and vista told me that an unauthorised program wanted to run what do i want to do, obviously i allowed it but then got this error on allowing it.....I dont understand why its denied because everything thats allowed to have permission over this program has it from trusted installer to me and to admins(which i am).
So full controls failing and windows attempt at making it work created the following.

Orakal: Can you try re-installing the program but this time choose a folder other than "C:\Program Files"?

Oh well im not afraid to admit im wrong lol......It worked i have a newly encoded dvd with a menu.

I installed it straight to D as installer was having none of it trying to put it into a folder named SVCD, so i have files all over D relating to svcd2dvd but it worked so ill just reinstall it again and find a place for it.
So it would appear to me to be a problem with Vistas UAC even when system and myself had full rights, but im using the last demo build maybe the full release will be ok.
Thanks alot for the input Chrissyboy youve been a great help and should i come across any other problems or solutions to other problems here ill be sure to post.
