Is there any way to capture MiniDV video faster than actually watching the video? I would like to import home movies from my camcorder to the PC quickly, then use video editing to cut it down and then write it to DVD. But everything seems to import at the speed it takes to watch it, and then there is a long rendering process before it will write to DVD. HELP!
