AC3 playback problem.

HI All,

I need some technical help on playing AVI files with AC3 audio.

I have AC3 filter installed on my system as well as Nero Showtime. When I play AVI files with AC3 audio in it. I got no sound, FFDShow shows that it tries to play the audio with Nero Decoder but their is no output from speakers.

For that reason I have to set the AC3 playback always with AC3 before playing such video files.

Can someone tell some suggestion, how can i tweak it play always with AC3 rather then Nero decoder.

Through the start menu you can set FFDShow's configuration. Find the AC3 reference, click on Nero Decoder and select something else from the list.

Or use VLC to play the videos, as Nero Showtime is worse than Windows Media Player.

I've had problems with AC3Filter when it was set to 4.1 channel output, but it went fine when set to plain stereo 2 channel...

I forgot to mention that I am using MPClassic for my video playback, I tried other player like ZoomPlayer but same issue.

I know its work fine with VLC or even in Nero Showtime.
