It is having problems finding "C:\Documents and Settings\ian mckay\Desktop\SVCD2DVD_OUTPUT\VIDEO_TS". What was happening when you got this? Can you attach your log?

Try it again without it going here ... highlighted ... it's not a safe place for such output .

    "C:\Documents and Settings\ian mckay\Desktop\SVCD2DVD_OUTPUT\VIDEO_TS"

Quite a few program's run into issue's when the desktop is the place for output ... the system is very fussy about such things ... especially large file output's .

Why? Without knowing the details of the project it is not possible to know if DVD2SVCD will be a remedy. SVCD2DVD and DVD2SVCD serve 2 quite different purposes and the majority of functions available with SVCD2DVD are not even a possibility with DVD2SVCD.
