Though I'm only 14 years old, In my spare time I've been experimenting on converting to different formats and what settings are the best to be used. I found that SVCD I think gives out the best quality for its file size. Though I haven't got a Capture Card, I'm due to get one in about 4 - 6 weeks. I most probably be getting the ATI All-In-Wonder Pro 32mb. Also I am experimenting with low bitrates to with all formats is well. Just ask if anybody need advice or can get give me things about the card I'm getting.

  2. Though it may be a long shot, i was curious if you have experimented with converting RM (real media) files to any other format; i am going to mpg, well frist to avi then to mpg because the proggie i use only outputs uncompressed avi files. My problem is, while i got the picute to come out right, the sound is horribly out of sync. I have tried vdub and tgmc to fix the problem but have had no luck. If you know anything, I would love to hear your imput. Thanks
