New Remote Needed For Divx Player - Help!

Ive got a bit of a problem, I need a new remote for my Yamada DVD Divx 6600 player. as my old 1 got broken.
Ive searched various things in google for replacement 1's but cant seem to find anything, I'm wondering if I can buy a universal remote and program it to work with the player? If so which 1 will work

There should be several that will work, just check out your local B&M store and choose one that fits your fancy. The only thing to keep in mind is that there always seems to be a few buttons on an original remote that aren't duplicated on universal remotes. The basic controls are always there (stop, play, power, ff, rw, pause, etc).
